A car prepared by Jean BUGATTI to run in formula "sport" on basis of frame 57 S without compressor. Its aluminium body careening all mechanics, including the rear wheels, was worth the nickname of "tank" to it.
This car driven by Robert BENOIST and Jean-Pierre WIMILLE , won a brilliant victory at the "24 Heures du Mans"in 1937.
 
         - front bonnet opening on the hyper realistic twin cam rolled Aluminium L8 engine;
         - retractable windshield;
         - wooden steering wheels ordering the steering box;
         - accelerator actuating the carburettor;
         - advancing ignition adjustable from the dashboard;
         - wire wheels of type 59;
         - removable "tonneau- cover";
         - leather seats;
         - unscrewing radiator and tank stoppers;
         - removable rear mask-wheels;
         - various opening trap-doors of body;
         - two tilting doors;
         - etc. …
